I once showed my freind a long video from amnesia for a loong time ago, the room was dark and we had on full screen and full volume.

My freind is scared easily so she was pretty frightened. Later we went down to the basement in my house to get something, she went to the bathroom downstairs that was located in a dark hallway. I meanwhile hid behind a wall and let out a loud monster noise from amnesia when she came out. I have not heard her scream that loud very often…

I decided to go downstairs in the middle of the night again, but this time to get some chocolate. Now, if you step on certain areas of the second floor of my house, you hear a banging noise that comes from downstairs in the basement, which my dad finished himself. I don’t remember what the reason for the noise is, but tonight I got particularly freaked out, thinking it was something coming after me (even though the monsters from Amnesia can’t go from one area to the next while chasing you.)

A while ago, my dad told me one morning that I had screamed (at the top of my lungs) in my sleep. I didn’t believe him until my brother confirmed it. Looking back on it now, it reminds me of Daniel’s Diary, when he wrote, “Alexander had heard my screams and asked me to join him in the parlor.”

The strange thing is, I had no recollection of the dream that caused me to scream. Usually I’m good at remembering them.

I bought Amnesia for my mom and I for christmas and I haven’t shut up about it since. The other night I stepped out of my bathroom and it was pitch black. My first thought was “Holy shit no wonder Daniel slowly goes insane in the dark.” I peeked around the corner and heard my dad coming. I waited patiently until he was right next to me and stomped on the ground. Loudly. He shrieked even louder.

Grunt has taught me well.

Mmm. Just had my first IRL Amnesia moment.

I had to go downstairs to get my phone just a few minutes ago. Now, I’m really lazy when it comes to pretty much anything, so as I was walking down the hallway from my room to the staircase I was thinking, “Eh, I’m not turning on the light.” That thought was quickly interrupted by, “OH, NOPE, THAT’S NOT A GOOD IDEA,” as soon as I took one look down the staircase.

Just last night I was walking down my hallway when I heard something creak and fall up stairs. My heart-rate went up and I looked for the nearest light source (in this case, a charging phone) and funnily enough, I felt a lot safer. 
Living in a apartment block in the city, you get used to all sorts of weird noises’at night-time but because of Amnesia, I’ve been jumping at the slightest things and looking for/carrying around sources of light.

A few days ago, I left the classroom because my teacher asked me to run an errand, and as I’m walking down the hall, I hear this faint noise. I just thought “meh” and kept going.
And then I turned the corner and it got a lot louder. A lot. And I swear it sounded just like the music/terrifying noise that plays in the background when Mr. No-face is running after you.
I flipped my lid, and it was hilariously fantastic.

A few years ago, when I actually interacted with the outside world, one of my friends gave me a bracelet. As I recall, it has five-six orbs on it and she gave it to me because she thought I’d like it, I think one orb was missing? I dunno. So I gladly took it. The orbs were all blue, I could submit a picture if I find it. But, the thing is, when I went back inside and was playing around with the little orbs, they broke. This was years ago and I completely forgot until now. And as I think about it, it reminds me of the orb from Amnesia.

I hope I’m not being followed by the orb’s guardian..

It’s been months since I’ve played Amnesia, but I still open drawers bottom to top. I never did that before playing the game.

So, while in collage, I lived on-campus and had a medical single. I’d been playing Amnesia with friends, and was getting into the fandom. One morning, with my windows open and the light pouring in, I was taking a break from watching LPs to do some German homework. Now, my room was kinda messy at the time, and I’d been out food shopping the day before. Out of the blue, I hear the sound of grinding teeth (that sound alot of people think is a sanity effect) and literally jump a foot in the air. Turns out, it was a breeze from my open window rustling a plastic bag. It had scared me so badly, my chest physically hurt.
